I’ve been coaching, alongside my acting and voice over commitments, for over 5 years. I have experience in teaching a range of ages from 2 year old tots upto adults and I absolutely love it. I take my experiences of working professionally in TV, film, stage and voice over, and apply it in a fun, educational & motivating way to inspire and encourage people of all ages to gain knowledge and confidence. The experiences and methods I teach are learned skills they will take with them throughout their years and be able to apply them all in aspects of their life and career.

I discovered my love of coaching when teaching 3 year olds; I saw that by challenging and encouraging them, they gained the confidence to do anything! Drama is so much fun, bringing characters to life, playing alongside others and using your imaginations to create another world. But most importantly, drama teaches children key communication skills: Performing a script with feeling, helps to develops the skills needed to speak clearly and expressively in public. Analysing different characters and bringing them to life with physicality teaches them creativity, coordination and physical awareness.

Session by session my kids would amaze me at how much they were developing not only their motor skills but their confidence!

A very important lesson I learned as a child was that our words and actions have the ability to affect people, which is incredibly powerful. I believe that knowing how to communicate with your chosen audience is not only important but empowering!

I also offer coaching on preparation for  LAMDA examinations, having taken the exams as a child myself I know how daunting they can be.
